a score before

Both Silver and I are extreme introverts, so seriously turned inward that these regular forays into a highly social, very crowded world was completely against our nature. I confronted this world to explain my world. So, despite the fact that we had only just left our car a score before, we returned like salmon seeking the river of our birth, to relax in isolation for a few moments before we took a deep breath and submerged ourselves again in the sea of musical and drunk patrons.
