madness erupting

Words grew formed by lips and tongues, unheard but little sweeter for the silence. Two large figures engaged in a dance, furious, passionate, determined, madness erupting behind a song screen. I took my drink in hand, took a swig, watched the dumb show, entertained. Another, some unknown woman joined the fray, a discussion of historical timing, compared memories, the varied estimation of a menu.
