broken perspective

Some say everything happens for a reason

But it doesn’t – there isn’t a plan, a plot

We are enacting – there are reasons

For everything, of that I have no doubt

But those reasons may be crazy, born

Of a broken perspective, causes

Deriving from flashes of uncontrolled

Emotions, reasons gone mad

Unreasonable within the strictures

Of reason – there is my faith

I believe in causality, for every

Effect there is a cause, the oddness

Sometimes hidden, sometimes shines through
