beer and gabbing

Early in the summer, some guy in the next building had a party. Mark knew a friend of the guy and I ended up standing around drinking beer and gabbing. There was this girl and she told us she was always bored in the afternoon, because she worked in the evening and everyone she knew worked days. I was working the night shift that summer, down at the plastics factory.
