46, 370 words and 20 chapters completes the first draft of my new
novel. It’s only a stage but now I can get friends to read it and they
can make comments while knowing the whole story. Since there’s a big
twist at the end, that’s crucial.
That said, I’m going to spend a few days beefing up the last two chapters and then I’m into full bore editing mode.
nanowrimo has been great at keeping me on schedule. I could do this every month, you know, if I could keep thinking up stories of just the right length.
